ANGRA Not Taking Part In SWEDEN ROCK Festival
May 26, 2005Despite a previous announcement to the contrary, Brazilian melodic metallers ANGRA will not be taking part in this year's Sweden Rock festival, set to be held June 9-11 in Sölvesborg, Sweden.
ANGRA have been confirmed as the support act for DREAM THEATER on their upcoming Italian tour beginning in late June. The band are continuing to tour in support of their latest album, "Temple of Shadows". The follow-up to 2001's "Rebirth" was recorded almost entirely in the group's home country of Brazil, with only some of the vocals and the keyboards having been recorded in Germany, where the mixing sessions also took place. Several world-renowned musicians make guest appearances on the album, including Kai Hansen (GAMMA RAY),Sabine Edelsbacher (EDENBRIDGE),Hansi Kürsch (BLIND GUARDIAN) and Milton Nascimento (a very famous singer in Brazil).
